Hey friends! I'm just so excited that it's April which means spring is on it's way to the Northeast! And spring means one thing: Easter and plants! If you hang out with me on Instagram you may know that I have a dark green thumb...not quite black but not quite green either so cacti and succulents are my jam! So, Easter egg cacti were a no brainer for this week's Sweet Moda Blog Project!

Supplies for this one pretty minimal!
- green paint (I chose apple tart from craft smart)
- dollar store pot and some Spanish moss
In total honesty, I failed on taking progress pics of this project. It happens to the best of us!
The eggs took 2 coats of paint to cover completely and then I used a darker green to paint on the little v's for the cactus spines.
The last thing I did was glue on the pom poms with Aleene's tacky glue. This stuff is the best! It holds really well and dries quickly!
I put them together in a pot with some moss but I might go back to the dollar store and grab some of those mini terra cotta pots for them. I'll update if I do!
I hope you enjoyed my quick and easy little egg DIY! Click on the images below to visit Jackie @ Jackie Can't Blog and Ashlee @ Sweet Southern Oaks to see their egg projects as well!
